ARSH DEOL

REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST/ ATHLETIC THERAPST

Arsh Deol graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and graduated with a Specialized Honors Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) and Certificate in Athletic Therapy from York University. Arsh has worked numerous placements in acute and non-acute care settings, as well as working as the lead student therapist for numerous sport teams at the university level, including football, basketball, rugby, volleyball, and hockey. This has allowed Arsh to become comfortable in assessing and treating individuals who present with sport related and non-sport related injuries or problems.

Arsh examines the body as a whole from a biological, psychological, and social perspective to determine the underlying cause of pain. He utilizes a functional assessment approach to determine areas lacking mobility, stability, strength and/or endurance. From a treatment standpoint, Arsh will implement manual therapy approaches such as soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques to help you move better and combine that with strength and conditioning exercise for long lasting results.

Arsh currently holds certifications in soft tissue release, first responder, movement and performance optimization. He looks to expand his tool box by obtaining certification in dry needling, strength and conditioning, and expanding his manual assessment and treatment skills by obtaining his FCAMPT designation.

In his spare time, Arsh enjoys playing and watching basketball (go raptors go!), lifting weights at the gym, binge watching shows or movies, and spending time outdoors with friends! Arsh Deol’s associations include: College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and Canadian Athletic Therapy Association
