FREYA JONES-ERIKSSON
MASSAGE THERAPIST, ATHLETIC THERAPIST
Freya received her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College. She has completed her Diploma of Massage Therapy at the Royal Canadian College of Massage.
Freya focuses on finding and treating the root cause of an injury for all patients. Her variety of experiences obtained through clinical and field settings make her equipped to handle high performance sports injuries, persistent and minor concerns, and everything in between.
She treats acute injuries (sprains, strains, fractures, concussions), as well as chronic injuries (such as back pain, shin pain, headaches). Starting with a full and holistic assessment, she uses soft tissue manipulation, assisted movement, taping, and gradual individualized movement plans to get people back to what they love.
Freya’s skills extend to trans and non-binary concerns such as chest binding, gender affirming surgeries such as mastectomies, breast augmentation, and jaw masculinization, and more.
She strives to make Athletic and Massage Therapy welcome and accessible by fostering a supportive and safe environment for genuine conversations. This includes using a trauma-informed, body neutral, and inclusive approach. You deserve care that is specific to you and your body, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
